Biography—

Ken Botts is a blogger, speaker, business and consultant – covering topics related to living a healthy plant-based lifestyle. Ken has worked in the food service and hospitality industry for over 35 years. He is most known for helping open the nations first vegan dining hall University of North Texas Dining Services in 2009.

He has consulted with food service operators and student groups on how to add healthy plant-based options to their existing food service offerings. He frequently helps various animal rights and sustainability groups with outreach initiatives to the food service and hospitality industries. He specializes on the topics of plant-based and clean living and can often be found in the garden or kitchen practicing what he preaches.

Ken has degrees in business and organizational management and a passion for helping people, the planet and animals. He has spoken at conferences around the nation and is a member/supporter of various vegan, animal rights and sustainability groups. He has been featured in many food industry magazines, news articles and blogs.
